Testimonials

"Burns took our very rough, initial idea for what we wanted for side tables and presented us with beautiful pieces of furniture that were not only functional, but pieces of art. Every step of the way Burns was patient and personable with us and provided insight that was invaluable in creating something we truly love. He has a gift for furniture design and is truly passionate about the craftsmanship he creates. "

"My name is Daniel Parke, and I am principal of Salal Architecture, a small design oriented architecture firm based on Bowen Island, near Vancouver. I have known Burns for over 3 years. I initially worked with him in the design and construction of his own house, and he has also built custom millwork and furniture in my own home. I always enjoy working with Burns. He is a true craftsman. I meet many different trades on job sites, and Burns is one of a rare breed of highly talented craftsmen who are increasingly difficult to find. He is technically very good with wood, he understands design and aesthetics, is very detailed oriented, is very current with issues around sustainability, is very professional and is a great communicator. I have no hesitation in recommending Burns Jennings. Sincerely,"

"Thank you Burns for having your exceptional and unique custom art furniture in our gallery in the recent exhibition, “The Art of the Landscape” at the Ferry Building Gallery. Your work speaks to the natural landscape of the West-coast and I am in awe of the way in which you juxtapose the various types and shapes of wood and stone to create truly brilliant one-of-a-kind furniture. Our gallery patrons and the visiting public very much admired and appreciated your designs and craftsmanship"
