"Burns has created four pieces of custom art furniture for my wife and I. We are absolutely delighted with each piece. The process of designing the pieces with Burns was very satisfying and, frankly, a lot of fun. Burns and I used Facetime on our phones to setup a video link between my home in Nanaimo and Burn’s workshop on Bowen Island. Burns could see the space where the piece was going to be placed and was able to absorb and incorporate that into his design. I was able to watch the piece progress and offer feedback as if I was standing in his shop. Burns made sure that every detail was considered. The final products are a seamless blend of form and function. We have spent a considerable amount of time admiring the beautiful quality of the craftsmanship, but the really cool thing is that the rooms in which these pieces live “feel” better.
