This apartment sized coffee table or bench is a study of the golden rectangle. Le Corbusier was a Swiss-French Architect and pioneer of modern architecture who used the golden ratio through out his work. This piece is the first of a series for pieces where I am making an impression of famous architects buildings in furniture. The proportions of the golden rectangle are believed to be the most aesthetically pleasing and is found in many buildings and is used as a key design tool.
